MOHAI Members Free

MOHAI also honors discounts for holders of AAA, Public Broadcasting Member Card, U-Pass, and GoSeattle.

Free Admission
Active duty military personnel and their families are free on November 11, 2011 with valid ID.

Discounted Admission
Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted admission; for more information, email Curt Fischer or call (206) 324-1126 Ext. 65. MOHAI also offers guided tours of the museum galleries for adult groups (ages 18+).

*Please note: Select galleries will close as MOHAI continues preparation for our historic move to the Naval Reserve (Armory) building in Lake Union Park in November 2012. On February 3rd, the Boeing-Johnson Gallery will close to allow for the restoration and preservation of some artifacts. On February 13th, the Green-Merrill Gallery will close, as well as portions of the King County Gallery. The McCurdy Gallery will also be closed on occasion during regular museum hours for private events.

Directions to MOHAI

The Museum of History & Industry is located south of Husky Stadium, just off State Route 520 and south of the Montlake Bridge.

By Bus
MOHAI is accessible by many Metro and SoundTransit buses. Use King County Metro's Trip Planner to find which bus works best for you.

By Bike
MOHAI is located on the Lake Washington Bicycle Loop. Visit the City of Seattle's Bicycling Guide Map to plan the safest route to the museum by bike. Bike racks are provided in the lower parking lot.

By Car
Parking is free at the museum.

From either direction of Interstate 5, exit to eastbound State Route 520 at exit 168B. Exit at Montlake Boulevard. At the stoplight go straight onto Lake Washington Boulevard and continue one block to 24th Avenue East. Turn left into the museum's driveway at 24th Avenue East. Follow road to parking lot.

From westbound State Route 520, take the Lake Washington Boulevard exit. Turn right onto Lake Washington Boulevard. Turn right again ontp 24th Avenue East, and follow it down to the museum parking lot.
