Group Tours

Bring Your Group to MOHAI!

MOHAI is pleased to offer guided tours to adult groups (ages 18+). For details about bringing a student (K-12) group to the museum, please visit our Education page.

All group tours are approximately 45 minutes long and are available to groups of 5-25 people during regular museum hours.

All group visits must be scheduled a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.

 

Essential Seattle Guided Tour 

Learn the story of Seattle's history, from Native settlement to the present, on a guided tour of MOHAI's permanent exhibit, Essential Seattle.

Cost: $30 per group, in addition to regular admission per person*

 

Now & Then Guided Tour

Tours are offered September 2011-April 2012

Get an in-depth look at MOHAI's current special exhibit, Now & Then, on a guided tour with a knowledgeable MOHAI docent. Now & Then delves into the rich and diverse history of Seattle through repeat photography—the practice of using historical and contemporary photographs to reveal the changes in our world.

Cost: $50 per group, in addition to regular admission per person*

 

Private Group Lecture: Seattle 101

In addition to booking a tour, you may rent the McCurdy Gallery for your group and receive a 45-minute lecture about Seattle's history presented by a MOHAI staff member. Rental includes space for 10-200 people for up to one hour, room setup (chairs), and technical support. Additional rental fees apply for groups wishing to reserve the room for more than one hour.

Cost: $150 per lecture, in addition to regular admission per person*

* Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted admission.
