MOHAI’s offers our youngest visitors opportunities for hands-on fun, both inside and outside the museum’s walls. These programs are aimed at museum-goers aged 3 to 5. For questions about our early learning programs, please contact Alyssa Kay, Education Assistant at (206) 324-1126 Ext. 13.

Program Details

MOHAI Goes Mobile

MOHAI Goes MOBILE is an exciting new collaboration between MOHAI and The Children’s Museum in Seattle. Visit The Children’s Museum between 10:00am-12:30pm on the third Saturday of every month and discover history’s mysteries with guests from MOHAI, fun craft activities, and displays of real artifacts from the past. This hands-on program is free with regular Children’s Museum admission.

Saturday, July 21st: Splash into Summer
Saturday, August 18th: Amazing Animals

First Free Thursday Kids Activity
On the First Thursday of each month MOHAI’s education team offers a craft or kids activity table for visiting families. Call ahead to find out what we will be doing this month!

Field Trips or In- Class Program
MOHAI is temporarily not offering field trips or classroom programs for pre-school groups; however, we are currently developing some exciting new pre-school programming for our new South Lake Union location, beginning in early 2013. Please check back later this year for more information!

Summer Camp

This summer, MOHAI offers summer camp with Pacific Science Center from July 16th – July 20th. Students in grades 4 - 6 are invited to go “back to the future” to create a vision for the Seattle that has yet to come!
