Outreach programs and materials are designed to be suitable for all grade levels, K-12.  Reserve them on their own or use them to supplement your visit to MOHAI. Scholarships may be available for some of these resources.  For more information, contact:

Portable Museum
These seven versions of a “museum in your classroom” enhance the teaching of Washington State history, align with EALRs and with Washington State Social Studies Assessments. Each collection contains artifacts, a slide show, documents, maps, audio and an extensive Teacher’s Manual with lesson plans and activities adapted to meet individual class needs.  Support packs for implementing the history Classroom Based Assesment “Dig Deep” are available for some kits, ask for availability.

Teacher & Trunk
A Museum Educator delivers your Portable Museum and teaches a one-hour, hands-on artifact exploration to start your two-week rental. Share your trunk and save money--multiple classroom programs can be scheduled with the same trunk on the same day for a discounted rate!
